2026 Wine in the Pines was fabulous!

The 2026 Wine in the Pines was a huge success. Thanks to all the donors and guests who helped Crown King Realty raise over $8,400 for CKFD Auxiliary. All funds raised will remain in our community and serve to benefit our local fire department. Many thanks to Lorrie & Casey Wyatt, owners of the Historic Crown King Saloon, for hosting our event again this year. Lorrie and Casey served wonderful appetizers, dinner and desserts. The tunes kept spinning thanks to professional DJ and former firefighter, Wayne Cunningham the owner of Optimum Entertainment, keeping the evening rocking through the night. This year we had some especially nice donations for the silent auction. Thanks to all the donors!

The most memorable donation was an oversized firepit shaped like a wine glass donated by local artist, Ryan Marciniak. As you may expect, this was a popular item and created quite the buzz at the silent auction table.

Thanks also to Chief Smith and all the firefighters who came to Crown King to help support our event. It was nice to share the evening with our local heroes!

2026 World’s Shortest Memorial Day Parade & ‘New Business’ News

The Crown King Memorial Day Parade never disappoints! While being led off by the local Veterans who served proudly, the entire town shares their love and respect for our Fallen Heroes. There is nothing quite like a Crown King parade. Some build elaborate floats while others simply march waving the American flag with pride. There really are no rules, only that you come out and share your patriotism with one another. While our parade is touted as The World’s Shortest Memorial Day Parade, it actually had a lot of entries and was one of the best ever. The length of Main Street is short but not our enthusiasm.

The newest CK restaurant, The Depot, had it’s grand opening on Saturday, May 23rd. Located across the street from the General Store, The Depot has several great food options as well as a full service bar. Be sure to check them out on your next trip to Crown King.

Stop in and meet the new owners of the Crown King General Store, Jordan and Lindsey Rodzaj! Lindsey is the daughter of Sandy Baker who owned the store with Gerry Morgan since 2013. Lindsey and Jordan are making some great changes and have many of plans for expansion and improvements. The General Store opened the Rocky Road Sweet Stop Ice Cream Parlor for the first time this season. Aubrey & Jackson Furbacher dished up some delicious Thrifty Ice Cream all weekend long. Of course the General Store will continue to feature the best fudge on the planet! We wish Lindsay and Jordan much success in their exciting new adventure.

Cornhole Challenge 2026

Crown King Realty sponsored the 11th Annual Cornhole Challenge on Saturday, May 23rd. The event raised $1,128 for the CK Road Maintenance Association. Bryan Bowles assisted with the bracketing, while Troy Ferencik and Todd Garrett kept the games running. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped and to the 30 teams that participated in this year’s tournament. The competition was tough and the winners fought hard to win the gold. Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Cornhole Challenge! Thanks to Megan and Jeremy Knox of MJ’s Cafe for hosting this year’s event. The weather was perfect and the tournament a success. Anna Coleman and Carol Boles of Crown King Realty appreciate the continued support the tournament receives.

Wine In The Pines 2023

IMG_7243Thanks for your continued support of Wine in the Pines and CKFD Auxiliary

Crown King Realty appreciates the support of the 16th Annual Wine in the Pines on June 10th. With nearly a sold out crowd, this event helped to raise funds for the local fire department. Lorrie and Casey Wyatt, owners of the CK Saloon, provided a delicious selection of Italian food. Megan & Jeremy Knox, owners of MJ’s Cafe donated the delectable cakes served to our guests. Lots of donations came in from our community to help raise money at the silent auction. Families and friends danced the night away under a cool clear sky. Bob Cosburn kept the tunes rollin’ and the crown entertained. The sponsors appreciate the volunteers who helped set up & clean up, and all those who donated their time as servers and staff. Without all those wonderful folks we could not continue to raise funds for our community. On behalf of Carol Boles & Anna Coleman of Crown King Realty……. ‘We truly appreciate you all!’
