The Crown King Chamber of Commerce was established in 2009 to promote tourism to our little town. Since we are located in the middle of the Prescott National Forest, we often face more challenges than most towns. Crown King always seems to make it through, we are the ‘Little Town That Wouldn’t Die’! Crown King was first established in 1888. While gold fever was running high, the town was a booming establishment. Currently there are 100 or so residents that call Crown King home. Tourists find the history, remoteness and the small town atmosphere to be absolutely charming. While in Crown King there is plenty to do, for some folks just getting here is half the fun! Many visitors brave the rough 4×4 trail from Lake Pleasant, while others enjoy our 28 mile graded dirt road through Bumble Bee, Az. No matter how you travel to Crown King, you will find yourself in one of the most unique locations in Arizona. Check out CrownKingAZ.com for photos and articles regarding Crown King and the events hosted in our town. Thanks for visiting Crown King Arizona!
